Minimum wage: is it too much or too low?
EUROSTAT’s recent survey shows a deplorable picture of Hungary. According to the surcvey; the amount of the current minimum wage in Hungary is much smaller than the available monthly minimum in most of the EU countries.
In addition that many people still not happy with the 93 thousand HUF minimum, the 19 percent increase of the minimum wage is a significant burden for the Hungarian enterprises, especially when we consider that this year's economic outlooks are weaker than last year’s. (MTI)
