Kitchen drone in the restaurant
Why should chain restaurants get all the drone fun? Austin gastropub Swift's Attic has teamed with Arch Aerial for this spoof video imagining a drone-filled kitchen that makes daily service that much easier.
According to Swift's sous chef Zack Northcutt, the drones “never call in sick” and their blades “always have nice sharp edges to them,” perfect for cutting celery and other mise en place. The drone also takes out (or more actually, drags out) the trash and can deliver food and drink, albeit always “to the same table.” Go, watch:
