Each competition authority approved the acquisition of PepsiCo’s interests
The competition office of all three countries approved Karlovarské minerální vody (Kmv) for the acquisition of the Hungarian subsidiary of PepsiCo and the takeover of its Czech and Slovakian interests – the Kmv and Szentkirályi-Kékkúti Mineral Water Ltd., told MTI on Monday in a joint statement.
Karlovarské minerální vody announced in January that after the approval of the competition authorities it will acquire the Hungarian, Czech and Slovakian interests of PepsiCo and will be the exclusive distributor of PepsiCo drinks and food products and the holder of the franchise rights. (MTI)
