Cash withdrawals to PENNY are available in all counties
Cash withdrawals with a bank card are available to anyone in PENNY stores nationwide, even in the smallest settlements. The discount chain introduced the service in 2017 for its customers, who can withdraw cash during opening hours in all counties without extra costs, even combining it with shopping.
PENNY Hungary is constantly looking for development opportunities that can give its customers even more. Those who visit the discount chain’s stores can save money and time at the same time, since in addition to the usual wallet-friendly prices, customers can also withdraw cash at the cash registers.
The service has been operating in PENNY stores since 2017, with which a maximum of HUF 20,000 can be withdrawn free of charge for purchases over HUF 3,000. A total of HUF 40,000 per month can be withdrawn free of charge. This now means 239 stores nationwide, 90% of which are located in rural areas. The service is available to anyone with an OTP Maestro or retail forint-based Mastercard card, and will soon be available with a Visa card.
