The National Food Chain Safety Authority (Nébih) has launched a new public thematic subpage dealing with grapevine golden yellow disease (FD). The creation of the interface, primarily intended for hobby gardeners and the interested public, is justified by the current high level of FD infection in our country. The aim of the office is to provide information about the disease, which poses a serious threat to domestic grape production, to the widest possible circle of the population. In order to curb the spread of the infection, in addition to official measures and the activities of grape growers, the active participation of a few wealthy hobby gardeners is also essential.

The phytoplasma that causes grapevine golden yellow disease is now present in 18 of our 19 counties in our country, and 21 of our 22 wine regions are infected. Prevention, early detection and appropriate protection are extremely important in stopping the rapid spread of the grapevine golden yellow disease, which causes serious damage.
