The Chamber of Agriculture urges all market participants to act ethically
In the current situation, ethical behavior between operators in the agricultural and food markets is particularly important. The National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) is actively involved in maintaining orderly relations and is acting against dishonest participants. Some 400,000 members of the Chamber – those involved in agriculture, food production, processing, wholesale – may seek the ethics committee of the Chamber to resolve issues they deem unethical or contentious.
The basis of successful operation of farmers and enterprises is mutual cooperation, keeping in mind the balance of interests and values. The economy cannot function without proper ethical standards, because law cannot incorporate all ethical issues into its own set of rules. An important objective of the NAK, even in this emergency situation, is to actively contribute to maintaining orderly market conditions and to help fair market players.
