Every second Hungarian is lost in the grind of work without inspiration, according to Costa Coffee’s research
The Costa Art & Craft creative competition started more than a month ago, and so far the most diverse artistic creations have been received: among others, coffee has inspired a play, a piece of music, a short story, a painting and a sculpture. You can apply for the tender with a total prize of HUF 2.25 million until the end of August with any artwork inspired by coffee. Costa Coffee’s research revealed that, in addition to creative processes, most respondents need inspiration for work, everyday life and baking and cooking – Costa Coffee helps with these as well.
The central element of the tender is inspiration: so its tenderer, Coca-Cola HBC Hungary, the exclusive domestic distributor of Costa Coffee, tried to find out what inspiration is: a survey conducted jointly with the research company Opinio revealed that the respondents were 50-50 impetus or new ideas for 43 percent, and a positive attitude. Although inspiration is important in the lives of many, 39 percent of respondents rarely, 16 percent very rarely or never experience this feeling. It is interesting that the participants in the survey have different opinions about why they need inspiration: every third respondent considers it important for creation, while every second thinks that they need inspiration for the grind of everyday life and for work. A quarter of respondents need inspiration and motivation for baking and cooking, and a fifth for sports.
