Hungary achieved the highest investment record of all time – with a focus on related real estate developments
From the point of view of the inflow of foreign working capital, Hungary focuses on presenting the most significant industrial and logistics real estate developments at the world’s number one real estate development exhibition, MIPIM, in Cannes, March 12-15. between. The Hungarian presence at the international exhibition is strengthened by the fact that, despite the economic difficulties, the value of foreign working capital that arrived in Hungary doubled last year, which lays the foundation for economic growth in the following years.
The positive assessment of the domestic investment environment, the unwavering confidence and growing interest of foreign investors is also shown by the fact that the guest of honor of the Hungary stand, György Habsburg, the Hungarian ambassador to Paris, was invited to deliver the opening lecture “Growth in the East-Central European Region” in the central program of MIPIM : trends, opportunities and innovations”. The importance of the Hungarian presentation is enhanced by the fact that this year the focus of the exhibition is on zero emissions, sustainability and carbon neutrality, of which the industrial, office and hotel developments on display at the Hungarian stand serve as a good example. The stand for the promotion of Hungarian investments and the presentation of development directions was created jointly by the National Investment Agency (HIPA) and the Real Estate Development Roundtable Association (IFK). The dominant real estate developers of the industrial real estate market – HelloParks (member of the Futureal group), Infogroup (developer of the IGPark network) and WING Industrial – as well as one of the leading office and residential developers, ATENOR, will participate in the army review with their outstanding developments. Békéscsaba, Debrecen and Kaposvár are also presented as attractive rural investment locations. Gránit Alapkezelő Zrt. will present the Hungarian macroeconomic and investment environment, as well as the investment opportunities offered by real estate funds, through the representatives of its new real estate investment brand, Grandum Real Estate. CBRE, the world’s leading real estate consulting company, adds color to the professional program with its latest analyses. The purpose of presenting government developments and private investments is to lay the foundation for the further expansion of foreign capital inflows and to contribute to strengthening Hungary’s ability to attract capital in the global competition for investments.
