The Budapest Airport received a record number of passengers in August

More than ever, 1 million 86 thousand passengers used the Liszt Ferenc International Airport in August.

The Budapest Airport said in a statement on Friday that it is an absolute record in the airport's life, it excesses the traffic in July 2015 as well, when one million 81 thousand people visited and used the airport.

Compared to August 2014 passenger traffic increased by 15 percent, while until September 6.8 million passengers were received, which is 12.7 percent more than in January-August 2014. (MTI)
