AMC is participating at PLMA in Amsterdam with a bigger stand than ever before
The range of so-called private label products distributed in retail chains, running under a unique brand name, is mostly acquired by the distributors of the store chains at the Amsterdam PLMA (World of Private Label), the Commercial Brands Exhibition. It is no wonder that the event is also extremely popular among Hungarian exhibitors, which is also shown by the fact that this year, a total of 21 exhibitors will appear at the Agrármarketing Centrum’s community stand on a larger area than ever before, on 198 square meters. Most of the exhibitors take part in the two-day event on May 28-29, 2024, year after year, but this time, six new participants have been added to the number of exhibitors.
The effectiveness of the exhibition and the increasing popularity of own-brand products is proven by the fact that Hungarian food industry enterprises always sign up for the event in large numbers. At the professional sales organized on the sidelines of the event, the most renowned experts in the field summarize the own-brand market data and trends. PLMA in Amsterdam is the world’s largest professional exhibition specifically dealing with private label products, which was attended by 2,658 exhibitors and 16,000 professional visitors in 2023.
At the community stand of the Agrármarketing Centrum, the purchasers of the store chains can choose from a wide range of products. The offer of the 21 exhibitors includes, among others, extruded breads, gluten-free oatmeal and flours, herbal teas, dried fruit, various fruit preserves and pickles, sausages and smoked sausages, honey, quick-frozen vegetables and fruits, cold-pressed oils, as well as biscuits and various snacks. The Hungarian Food Business Program, the export development branch of the Agrármarketing Centrum, will be located at the stand, where suppliers interested in Hungarian products are continuously registered. The Hungarian Food Business catalog currently contains the data of more than 250 Hungarian food manufacturing companies and about 500 professional international purchasing companies.
