Harvesting has begun earlier than ever in Germany
The harvesting of grapes has begun earlier than ever in Germany. The work will begin on 6 August – the German Wine Institute (DWI) announced on Monday.
Due to climate change harvest begins earlier – Ernst Büscher, the spokesperson of the branch advocacy organization said, adding that fruit ripening this year is about three weeks ahead of the average of the last 30 years. (MTI)
