Hungarian tourists in Croatia broke all previous records
Last year, the number of Hungarian tourists and the number of guest nights in Croatia exceeded the record year of 2019 by more than a tenth – the representative of the Croatian Tourist Association in Budapest informed MTI on Wednesday.
According to the announcement, 728,000 Hungarian arrivals arrived in Croatia last year, 21 percent more than in 2022, which is 13 percent higher than the figure of 2019, which was considered the peak so far. The number of Hungarian guest nights was close to 3.6 million, which is a 17 percent increase compared to last year, and a 10 percent increase compared to 2019.
In February, May, October, November and December, the increase was more than 30 percent compared to 2022, which also shows that Hungarian tourists visit Croatia not only in summer, but also throughout the year, for city visits, cultural excursions or active tourism.
