Retail technology trade fair EuroCIS focused on the omnichannel strategy this year and attracted a record number of visitors: there were more than 10,400 trade visitors from 87 countries, who had the chance to learn about the new products and solutions presented by 411 exhibitors from 29 countries. Visitors were most interested in mobile solutions and the main goal of most innovations presented was to find customers more easily, and to offer more services and a real shopping experience.
Messe Düsseldorf director Hans Werner Reinhard told after the trade show that this year’s EuroCIS was an outstanding success. EuroCIS has become the leading trade fair in retail technology solutions in recent years, mainly because no other trade show presents the rapid technological development that is taking place in the retail sector as comprehensively as EuroCIS. The next EuroCIS will be held as part of EuroShop in Düsseldorf, from 5 to 9 March in 2017.
