Both vegetable and livestock product prices became higher in March
According to data from the Central Statistical Office (KSH), in March 2018 agricultural production prices were 2.5 percent higher than in the same period of 2017. This rise was the result of the price of vegetable products growing by 2.6 percent and livestock/products of animal origin prices increasing by 2.2 percent from the base period level. Cereal crops cost 10 percent more, but slaughter pig’s price dropped 3.2 percent to HUF 342/kg. Milk cost 3.2 percent more and we had to pay 17 percent more for eggs. //
