What should a roadside bistro look like if it isn’t like this? – The picture of the day
Strange dreams or strong grass may have been the inspiration for the imaginative designer of the Madero Café, built along the busiest highway in Guatemala City: the amazing bistro in a giant red cube is full of cars, yet gives the impression of a greenhouse. The light enters the 15-meter-high hall from above, well illuminating the colorful and bright interior and the tall tropical plants, which are watered with rainwater collected in the large blue tanks shown in our pictures.
