Millward Brown: Google is the world's most valuable brand
Google became the world's most valuable brand again on the top list of BRANDZ 2014 ahead of Apple, which was on the top of the list in 2013. Google’s value is 159 billion USD. Compared to 2013, the brand value of Google increased by 40 percent.
Apple was the number one for three years. In 2014 the brand’s value fell by 20 percent, and is standing on the second place with a 148 billion USD brand value. Apple is performing outstandingly worldwide, but consumer perception is getting stronger and the Apple did not release any revolutionary innovation last year. In third place we can find the world's leading B2B brand the IBM, with 108 billion USD brand value.
