The number of employed people can decrease with millions in the coming decades
The Economic and Social Council (GSZT) is concerned about the demographic trends in Hungary, and proposes to prepare a comprehensive program to improve the situation – said Parragh László president of the GSZT.
According to the study of GSZT, in 2021, more than 3 million elderly people will live in Hungary and the care of them seems to be an impossible task, without the a sufficient numbered economic performance of the active population.
Hablicsek László demographer said that a convergence program would needed, to solve this problem – reports hirszerzo.hu.
