The spirit mafia caused billions worth damages to the Czech state
The so-called spirit mafia caused about 6.7 billion crowns – 75 billion HUF – financial damages to the Czech state with not paying taxes.
This is the largest tax fraud case identified in the history of the Czech Republic – told the Czech police on Tuesday, adding that the results of the investigation has been handed over to the representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office in Olomouc. Although the names are not made public by the police, Miroslav Stoklas prosecutor confirmed to reporters that the case involves the spirit mafia led by Radek Brezina entrepreneur. Stoklas said that the prosecution is carried out within a few weeks. (Kokes János, MTI )
