Hipercom: Santa Claus in special offer leaflets
It is not a surprise that a few days before the Day of Santa Claus, special offer leaflets have been filled with various seasonal candy offers. Hipercom's monitoring database examined these leaflets from several point of views.
The symbol of the holiday, namely the chocolate Santa has appeared in the special offer magazines 136 times shortly before the holiday. The brannd with the highest number of seasonal candy-types is Boci (22.1 percent) and Tibi (20.6 percent), followed by Kinder, Milka and Szerencsi. Brandless chocolate candies are also popular as they are significantly cheaper than high-brand ones. The cheapest choco-Santas are available in Cora and Metro, where customers can purchase one for 25 Ft/15g. The same product in Auchan costs 29 Ft, whereas the cheapest chocolate SAnta in Tesco costs 35 Ft.Related news
