Low maize prices
2012 was a black year in the life of maize producers. As it is known because of the spring and summer drought, the lowest crop was harvested in Hungary since 2007.
The year 2013 was relatively free from extremism, while this summer brought too much rainfall across most of the country and partly for this reason a very good crop is expected. Nevertheless we can rarely meet with a satisfied maize producer. Now the oversupply causes the problems with low prices.
