State Horse and Model Farm established in Mezőhegyes

After a government decision in November, the state bought back the Mezőhegyes State Horse Farm Zrt. for HUF 2 billion (it had been privatised in 2004) and merged it with

already state-owned Ménes Kft. to establish the State Horse and Model Farm in Mezőhegyes. The new organisation owns 8,500 hectares of agricultural land and 1,500 hectares of woodland, employing about 400 people. /
