Honey falsification: EU needs to take actions against honey adulteration
If the beekeepers would sell their honey at current price it would mean bankruptcy for them – Nagyernyei Attila, president of the Tolna County Apiary Association told.
The purchasers offer 550-600 HUF for mixed nectar, while for acacia honey 1100-1150 HUF per kilo. Two years ago prices were very good, but now in addition to poor harvest, the price remains low because of the dumping of Chinese fake honey. (Világgazdaság Online)
