Honey Festival in Zalaegerszeg
On the three-day event, the beekeepers of Sárrét, North Bácska, Somogy and Zala will present their products, but beekeepers will come from Muravidék, from the Uplands (felvidék), from Székelyföld and from the Őrvidék also.
The exhibition primarily serves the special promotion of apiculture products. “We want to show that not only mixed honey, acacia exist (besides them at least twenty types of products are available). There will be beekeepers at the event, who have fifteen or sixteen kind of honeys” – said Jordán Ferenc, president of the Beekeepers Association of Söjtör. Beekeepers can make honey from almost any plant, from canola, sunflower, walnut or lavender – reports Origo.
