Gingerbread Festival in Debrecen
The fifth Gingerbread Festival of Debrecen will be held on Saturday, where the participants can taste several honey-based products – drinks, gingerbread and honey preserved fruits.
Vajda Mária, main museologist at the Déri Múzeum, at the opening ceremony in the Medgyessy museum recalled that Debrecen is a major center of the Hungarian gingerbread. High-quality and famous gingerbread is made in the city for centuries now. (MTI)
