Each year the title METRO Wine of the Year is awarded to a selection of excellent white, rosé and red wines.

In addition to the international selection, METRO Hungary has also rewarded an excellent Hungarian wine trio with this title in 2024. This time the chosen ones are the Volere range by CADIS 1898 winery in the Veneto region of Italy, and the Nexus selection of Lelovits Tamás winery in the Villány region of Hungary. //
