LG’s new air conditioner uses artificial intelligence to analyze user habits
LG has introduced its new ARTCOOL™ AI Air cooling and heating air conditioner. The elegantly designed residential air conditioner uses artificial intelligence to analyze user habits to provide personalized operation and better energy efficiency.
The unit’s AI Air function detects the layout of the room and the position of the occupants and automatically adjusts the airflow strength and direction in real time. The unit is compatible with the LG ThinQ™ mobile app, so users can remotely monitor and customize the operation of the unit according to their needs. In addition, the Sleep Timer+ function adjusts the temperature and airflow based on individual user habits, creating the ideal conditions for a restful sleep.
With a modern, minimalist design, the latest ARTCOOL model fits perfectly into most modern interiors. The black mirrored glass surface of the unit and the horizontal air deflector grille at the bottom give the device an elegant look. The grille not only creates a visual contrast under the glossy black surface, but also plays a key role in optimizing airflow. When the unit only blows air through this front outlet, the multi-layer grille structure covers a wider range of 180 degrees, so the user will experience a softer, more comfortable air movement.
LG’s new air conditioner also helps save energy in an intelligent way with AI kW Manager and Window Open Sensor. With AI kW Manager available in the ThinQ app, users can monitor their appliance’s consumption in real time, and can also set their own energy consumption limit to reduce electricity consumption. Thanks to the person sensor and window open sensor, the air conditioner also enables further energy savings. The unit “notices” when there is a change in the room: for example, it immediately activates energy-saving mode if the room is empty or if the temperature fluctuates suddenly.
