EN-CO Software develops quality control technology based on artificial intelligence
EN-CO Software Zrt. has received HUF 420,430,500 in non-refundable funding from the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH) tender, from which it is developing quality control technology based on artificial intelligence, the company announced to MTI.
They are working on the creation of a pioneering, artificial intelligence-based, innovative software solution that implements a revolutionary change of approach in automated quality control. It allows a single robotic cell to inspect different types of products, even while the objects are moving on the assembly line, with minimal human intervention, contrary to industry practice.
The planned software platform combining the methods of artificial intelligence and machine vision could be ready by mid-2026.
This significantly improves the quality and efficiency of the inspection, reduces the time required for the inspection, with a high level of precision and easy integration, they wrote.
According to the information, the planned software platform will bring revolutionary progress in other sectors in addition to the quality assurance processes of serial production. It helps robot technology by drastically simplifying robot programming and promises forward-looking research results in the field of artificial intelligence and machine vision, its innovations can be used in medicine (surgical robotics) and the food industry.
