Adony Logisztikai Központ Kft. implemented development based on artificial intelligence
Adony Logisztikai Központ Kft. has implemented development based on artificial intelligence and sensor technology – the company operating the intermodal logistics center told MTI.
The company won HUF 793 million investment in the Hungarian multi program, a conditionally refundable European Union grant of HUF 317 million – they stated in their announcement.
The goal of the project was to enable the company to create a smart logistics center within a few years by applying the highest level of digitization technologies, they added.
According to their description, an intelligent industrial camera system has been installed, which uses artificial intelligence to improve the efficiency of on-site navigation and management between warehouses, and the amount of data generated from real-time traffic data will later enable self-propelled, self-driving vehicles and loaders to move around the site.
The inertial navigation and sensor, which determines the position, speed and direction without external help, calculates the absolute displacement of the vehicles based on the data of precision gyroscopes and angular velocity meters, and gives the current position based on the distance traveled relative to the starting point.
The industrial loader purchased as part of the project was also equipped with sensor technology, which collects telemetry data on the movement of the crane and can then store them and provide reference data for training a later automated loading system. As a further part of the investment, a maintenance hall with a heat pump was built, which is used for predictive and preventive maintenance; here, equipment is repaired based on data from sensors installed on loaders and other work machines.
It was written that, as a result of the development project, the ltd. is able to strengthen its growth potential, thus contributing to the emergence of SME status.
