Maxima Implements AI-Based Solutions In Grocery Retail
Lithuanian retail group Maxima has announced that it has implemented a number of AI-based solutions across its grocery stores for better customer experience.
The new technology will also help in streamlining operations, reducing the cost of running the stores, and balancing employee workloads, the retailer said.
The retailer has installed high-resolution video cameras that analyse product availability on store shelves and trigger operational commands.
The cameras are also equipped to detect crowding in the checkout aisles and send out messages to store managers.
