In Romania, the crop can be harvested from 1.9 million hectares (-12 percent). In Poland and northern Germany, more rainfall would be needed for the development of the crops. In Italy, the crop can be sown on an area of 500 thousand (+4 percent), in Bulgaria 430 thousand (-16 percent), and in Austria, the same 210 thousand hectares.
