Sour cherry growers saved

The state decided to give non-refundable subsidy to sour cherry growers for the processing of excess sour cherry and for temporarily holding back sour cherry from the market. HUF 800 million is available for processing use and HUF 30 million for storage. Growers can apply for processing subsidy in the 8 September-7 October 2014 period and for storage subsidy between 1 and 15 June 2015.
