The Agricultural Marketing Centre was among the participants for the first time. Now in its 12th year, the event has become Europe’s leading platform for allergen-free, health-conscious, vegan and plant-based products. In 2025 more than 250 exhibitors from 31 countries attended and the number of visitors exceeded 4,200. A new feature of this year’s event was the national pavilion system, while the Protein Transition Pavilion focused on developments in the field of plant-based and alternative proteins. The plenary sessions and workshops concentrated on healthy and sustainable nutrition trends and the challenges of vegan sales opportunities. Organised by the Enterprise Europe Network, the matchmaking programme and business meetings resulted in a number of new partnerships and contracts.
Hungarian presence
The Agricultural Marketing Centre was represented at the event by a 174m² collective stand, with 24 companies participating. Products on display included gluten-, lactose- and sugar-free foods, snacks, flour mixes and even gluten-free beer.

Péter Ondré, managing director of AMC managing director of AMC praised the joint appearance at an event hosted by the Hungarian Embassy in Vienna
On the day before the trade fair’s opening Hungarian participants had the opportunity to take part in a special factory tour of the IREKS-STAMAG gluten-free bakery, organised by the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture’s (NAK) Free-From Working Group. The Hungarian “Free From” Food Business Event was held as the closing programme on the first day of the trade fair: 30 Hungarian companies and 70 local buyers participated in the programme.
