SZÉP card: families spent at least 470 billion forints in five years
The Széchenyi Rest Card was launched at the end of 2011, replacing the previous holiday check. Nowadays, 450,000 forints can be given, 225,000 for domestic accommodation, 150,000 for hot meals, 75,000 for health, beauty and sports services – privatbankar.hu wrote after Blokkk.com.
In 2017, more than one and a half million people had Széchenyi Rest (SZÉP) cards. It is apparent from the data of the Hungarian Tourism Agency that families spent at least 470 billion forints in five years. (blokkk.com, privatbankar.hu)
