Euro area’s economic mood dropped significantly
The German and Eurozone economic confidence index of the ZEW Institute for Economic Research dropped to a one and a half year low in March, keeping in mind the potential damages attributed to the imposition of US import duties.
According to a March survey of the ZEW (Zentrum fur Europaische Wirtschaftsforschung), the economic mood index fell to 5.1 points in Germany from 17.8 points a month ago.
The 5.1 points of March of the ZEW economic confidence index has been the lowest since September 2016. (MTI)
