A fair day for fair trade
World Fair Trade Day taking place on 10th Mai. This year's event in Hungary talks about climate protection too.
The domestic events take part on
Margit-island in Budapest, where visitors can see photo exhibition,
films, quizs, etc. The Hungarian Organization of Fair Trade collects
signatures for disseminate of fair trade with govermnet help.
The point is to teach people about fair
trade, because no matter how much you talk about it, there will
always be someone who doesn’t know about it. Fair trade’s goal is to help
marginalized producers and workers throughout the world empower
themselves and become economically self-sufficient and become
stakeholders in their own organizations. So they can be better baas
of their own fields and can protect themselfs and their fields from
onside economy.
