Beekeeping cooperatives should be created

The Hungarian apiary society should think about to create cooperatives, the beekeepers can not individually show sufficient strength – the Parliamentary Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) said in Gyula.

Nagy István in his lecture took place at the 9th Honey and Gingerbread Festival in Gyula explained: with the cooperation, the price setting ability and sales opportunities of the Hungarian beekeepers would significantly enhanced. The Hungarian government spends 150 million HUF for the creation of beekeeping cooperatives in the next five years. (MTI)
