The strong Swiss franc affects the chocolate and emmental export badly
The best-selling daily consumer goods manufacturers the chocolate and emmental cheese manufacturer Swiss-firms feel mostly the effect of the strong Swiss franc. Due to the decline in their exports, their production and profit both reducing.
The dairy plants complain that their production has fallen by one third, mainly due to the North American export difficulties. But for now, the Swiss economy as a whole is exceptionally exports well, despite, the strong franc: in July exports was 16.6 billion francs, surpassing the value of exports in June by 3 percent – reports MTI.
