The honey of the year was announced

The result of the best honey types and the best honey of the year was announced at the 9th Honey and Gingerbread Festival in Gyula on Saturday.

In addition to the Honey of the Year 2016 recornition Háy István’s rape honey also won the first prize in the best rape honey category – Árgyelán János competition director informed MTI.
The winner of the best acacia honey category has become the Biksi Apiary from Százhalombatta and Hrabovszki Norbert from Békéscsaba. (MTI)
