One of Budapest’s busiest food courts has been renovated
The second-floor food court of Corvin Plaza, operated by Indotek Group, has undergone a complete renovation, allowing one of the busiest shopping centers in the capital to serve visitors at an even higher level. As a result of the modernization, twice as many seats, modern lighting, USB and network ports, and spectacular interior design solutions make the dining experience more comfortable and enjoyable.
The food court is one of the most important community spaces in every mall, where visitors meet, relax, and spend time together. In the case of Corvin Plaza, this space is not only the heart of the mall, but also an iconic element of the visitor experience, which determines the atmosphere of the entire shopping center. In order to meet the constantly changing and increasingly high-quality expectations of visitors and customers, the shopping center’s food court was completely renovated in recent months.
During the renovation, the entire area of more than 500 m² was given a new look. The old, dark floor covering was replaced with a new wood-effect covering, the old coffered ceiling was dismantled and replaced with a new ceiling containing modern design elements, the walls and the ceiling were also repainted. The lighting was completely renewed: 284 energy-saving LED lamps, unique ring and glass ball LED lamps, and decorative lighting create a friendly, modern atmosphere.
The number of seats has doubled, while the traffic lanes have also become more spacious, ensuring barrier-free traffic. 94 single and 17 double tables, 220 colorful chairs, round tables, bar tables and benches with illuminated signs were installed, and 26 space dividers were also installed in order to optimize the use of space.
The renewed food court has not only undergone aesthetic but also functional developments. In addition to the USB and 230V sockets built into the seating elements, the space also features Burger King’s digital ordering walls. The view is made unique by artificial plant walls and special decorative elements.
The renovated Corvin Plaza food court is now waiting for visitors to spend their meals and meetings in a modern, friendly and comfortable environment. With the renovation, Indotek Group has not only implemented an architectural development, but also created a meeting place that fits organically into everyday urban life, where the experience of shopping and relaxation reinforce each other and offers quality time for all ages.
