Philip Morris Hungary Ltd. renewed its lease agreement in the Kálvin Square office building
Philip Morris Hungary Kft. has extended its lease in one of the most outstanding office buildings in the city center, Kálvin Square, which has several international certifications, where the company has been present since 2016, on nearly 1,500 square meters.
The building, managed by ConvergenCE, has earned the tenant’s trust not only with its premium services and sustainable operation, but also with its people-centered environment that supports the company’s business goals and employee well-being in the long term.
The extension is not just a business agreement, but also the strengthening of a multi-year, well-functioning partnership. The cooperation has been built on mutual trust, openness and shared values over the years. For Philip Morris Hungary Kft., Kálvin Square is not simply an office location, but an inspiring space that supports the physical, mental and social well-being of its employees – which in turn has a direct impact on the company’s culture and performance.
“Kálvin Square is more than a workplace for us: it is an environment where we can develop both individually and as a team. The balanced presence of natural light, quiet spaces and community zones allows our employees to work focused and at the same time connect with each other. The fact that our team feels so at home in this space is reflected in their daily operations”
– highlighted Mónika Marth, Office Services Executive and Wellbeing Expert at Philip Morris Hungary Kft.
Kálvin Square’s central location and excellent infrastructure also played a decisive role in the extension. The building offers exceptional accessibility, convenient parking and a livable environment in the heart of the capital. In addition, the office building meets Philip Morris’ global sustainability expectations: energy efficiency, resource optimization and reducing environmental impact are all priorities.
Its commitment to sustainability is also reflected in the fact that the building has BREEAM “Excellent”, WiredScore “Platinum” and Access4you certificates – these certifications confirm the highest level of environmental, digital and accessibility requirements.
The agreement was concluded by Dóra Papp-Vas, Leasing Director of ConvergenCE, and Leasing Manager Kinga Halász on the landlord side, while the tenant was represented by Dóra Boda-Budai from the international real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield.
In addition to another chapter of the successful cooperation, the near future also offers further opportunities: from January 2026, nearly 1,500 square meters of premium office space will become available on the 4th and 5th floors of Kálvin Square. This provides new tenants with the opportunity to create a uniquely designed, elegant yet lively working environment with different interior heights in the heart of Budapest, regardless of current tenancy agreements.
