The National Trade Association held its general meeting
At its annual general assembly, the National Trade Association (OKSZ) reaffirmed some of its previous office holders and elected new ones. In addition, the assembly approved amendments to the statutes and the Organizational and Operational Rules, the 2024 annual report, and the 2025 budget plan. According to the Supervisory Board’s assessment, the Association performed its duties well, aligning the interests of its members and representing them effectively to the public.
The National Trade Association includes among its members Hungary’s six largest food retail chains, as well as several other major retail companies operating in key market segments (IKEA, Metro, Media Markt, Praktiker, dm, Foodora), along with numerous medium-sized and smaller chains and corporate groups. Every fifth employee in the Hungarian retail sector works for an OKSZ member company, and the Association strongly advocates for their interests as well.
