The GVH has terminated the investigation connecting to Food Code

Economic Competition Authority terminated the investigation against the signatories of the food code. The code was not suitable to restrict competition in the market, and did not come into force and did not have an appreciable effect on the market.

In addition, the organizations signing the entry after the food code, has been declared that they do not to apply the code, or suspend the application until the decision of Economic Competition Authority.
The National Trade Association, after the termination of the investigation came out with a press release, that in order to help the small domestic producers, will develop proposals using the experiences of the negotiations of the food code – reports VG Online.
