Restrictions due to avian flu have been lifted in Hungary
The protection against the bird flu epidemic proved to be successful: tests have not detected the virus in the domestic poultry population for more than a month. Taking into account the favorable trend, the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) ordered the dissolution of the still existing supervision (observation) district in the counties of Hajdú-Bihar and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg.
