Chiquita Ltd. abolished

The Vác based fruit trader the Chiquita Hungary Trading Ltd. will be wound up.

The company majority-owned by Chiquita Banana Company B.V. registered in the Netherlands, imported fruits, especially bananas to the Hungarian market, since 1998. The net sales income of the Chiquita Hungary Ltd. was excessed a 3 billion HUF in 2006 and 2007 as well, however its balance sheet turned from 9 million HUF profit to 23.5 million HUF loss – reports Napi Gazdaság.
