With the rise in the number of infections, the lifting of restrictions is stopped to slow down the coronavirus epidemic in Germany – a decision was made on Thursday at a meeting of federal and provincial government leaders.

Under the agreement, instead of continuing to dismantle restrictions, further tightening will be introduced in a number of areas and efforts will be made to unify the different infection control regulations in each province. Thus, for example, the ban on mass events will be maintained at least until the end of the year, and a lower limit of 50 euros (17,000 HUF) will be imposed to penalize violations of mask wearing rules.
