ALDI Süd denies property sale on a large scale
According to reports in Lebensmittel Zeitung, Aldi Süd is thinking about selling a large part of its property in Germany.
Up to 1,000 out of the some 1,700
stores could be involved. Aldi wants to invest the proceeds both in
the USA and the UK, according to LZ. Apparently, expansion strategies
outside Germany have brought Aldi managers to think about new ways of
financing. Aldi has denied the sale of a large part of its property
confirming that it is preparing for the sale of only 150 stores.
