Poland’s Biedronka opens first store in Slovakia
Polish retail chain Biedronka has opened its first store in Slovakia in Miloslavov, near Bratislava. The Jerónimo Martins subsidiary has also set up a new distribution centre in Voderady, where a team of 66 people supports the logistics processes. Biedronka is planning to open further stores in Zvolen, Považská Bystrica, Nové Zámky and Senica.
