Nestlé Portugal Opens Its First Retail Store
Nestlé Portugal has opened its first store in the country at its Linda-a-Velha headquarters.
The Good Store offers around 90 Nestlé brands, featuring Portuguese staples such as Mokambo, Pensal, Nestum, Cerelac, and Buondi.
Products range from coffee, cereals, and baby food to pet food, supplements, chocolate, vegetarian options, dairy, and desserts. Additionally, the outlet offers partner brands like L’Oréal and Longa Vida, among others.
Previously an employee-only store, the renovated space is now open to the public, aiming to strengthen community ties and provide easy access to Nestlé’s diverse portfolio.
Brand Experience
The store also aims to provide a brand experience component, hosting workshops, tastings, and product launches, further strengthening consumer engagement.
The Good Store features modern retail technology like new inventory management systems, digital labels, and two self-checkout payment terminals, in addition to a serviced cash register. The store also has a space for coffee tasting.
The store also focuses on social sustainability by offering products from Semear, a non-profit supporting employment for people with disabilities.
Designed with sustainability in mind, The Good Store reflects Nestlé’s commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
João Castanheira, commercial director of Nestlé Portugal, commented, “This opening was something that our consumers had been asking for a long time and we wanted to satisfy this desire, reinforcing our commitment to being close to the Portuguese people, with an inspiring and multifunctional space, created to provide tasty, nutritious and affordable products for people at all stages of life, while inspiring them to enjoy foods that contribute to their health”.
The Good Store is located in the municipality of Oeiras, has 165 square metres of sales area, and is open Monday to Friday.
