Rossmann opened its 250th store
The drugstore, celebrating its 30th anniversary in Hungary, developed above the market last year, but there is no stopping in 2024: their 250th store in a festive setting, the founder Dirk Rossmann and his family, the CEO of the co-owner AS Watson Group, Malina Ngai, and Rossmann’s international managers was opened in Árkád in Budapest in his presence.
The 250th Rossmann store in Hungary was opened in the Árkád Shopping Center in Budapest in the presence of Dirk Rossmann’s founding owner, Malina Ngai, the managing director of AS Watson Group, as well as many of Rossmann’s international managers. Rossmann Hungary closed a busy and exceptionally successful year: the 30-year-old drugstore exceeded the gross annual turnover of 170 billion in 2023, with which they once again managed to achieve growth above the drugstore market average. In addition to the fact that they have continued to grow in the market over the past year, they will not stop this year either, at the end of last year they announced that they would start a 20 billion investment near their current headquarters in Üllő. By the end of 2025, a 28,000-square-meter logistics center is planned to be handed over, which will be complemented by a 4,000-square-meter office.
