Hungary's biggest shopping centre opens
After two weeks and 3 hour lag yesterday Arena Plaza opened its gates. People run to buy cheap flat tvs and other discount price products.
The 180,000-square-metre Arena Plaza will have 66,000 square metres of retail
space, and will accommodate some 200 businesses, including a
10,000-square-metre hypermarket and a 22-screen multiplex cinema. Arena Plaza
was built by Israeli property developer Plaza Centers, which sold the centre in
August to UK-based Active Asset Investment Management for 390 million euros.
